As a food reviewer for Menu Buzz, I have had the pleasure of exploring countless dining establishments, but the charm of Capati Rusuk Kambing stands out among the rest. The star of the menu, the chapati, is light and delightfully soft, proving to be a perfect companion for the rich, tender lamb dishes on offer. Customers rave about the superb taste and authenticity of the food, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Afghan culinary excellence.
The tender lamb shank, specifically, deserves a special mention. Many diners note its buttery texture, which melts effortlessly off the bone, a revelation that leaves you yearning for more. Pair it with the restaurant’s popular Sup Kambing and Bengali Roti for an unforgettable meal experience. The portions are generous, ensuring that you leave with a satisfied palate and a full belly. As one reviewer remarked, it’s a dining experience worth every penny, with meals like the Kuzi Lamb Shank on rice and a variety of beef dishes served alongside freshly made chapati.
While the restaurant's ambiance may not be its strongest point, the focus here is undeniably on the food. Guests appreciate the tranquility of the dining environment, being away from the hustle and bustle of other eateries. It’s the kind of place where you can dig in with your hands, embracing the true essence of enjoying a meal, as recommended by a patron who emphasized the joy of getting ‘a bit dirty’ while relishing these delectable offerings.
Although minor improvements to the decor and signage could enhance the overall dining experience, the flavors and authenticity of the dishes speak volumes. Expect a slight wait as everything is prepared fresh, a small price to pay for the remarkable quality that arrives at your table. The Capati Rusuk Kambing Afganistan Restaurant is not just a meal; it’s a culinary journey worth embarking on.
So, if you're in Shah Alam, don't miss out on Capati Rusuk Kambing. Whether you're visiting for a quick dinner or a leisurely meal with family, the taste of Afghan delicacies will surely linger in your memory long after your last bite.
“ The chapati was truly soft. The taste was better then most of the chapatis found elsewhere. The taste is authentic and delicious. The gravy was adequate for a meal/ person and the taste is also superb.Try the Sup Kambing with the Bengali Roti as well as a finisher! ”
“ The capati is very soft and freshly made. The kambing is also nice. Parking is very easy and the place is away from other eating places so you can eat peacefully. ”
“ I’ve spent a better part of two decades in the Middle East and I can say they don’t disappoint! Spent RM70 for three sets and two pieces of extra chapati, really worth it. Kuzi Lamb shank on rice, beef on rice Ayak Adam Kerisik, and Beef with Chapati. Will definitely go back again. Also: Lambshank was so tender that a plastic spoon was enough to break it apart. ”
“ Best to come during weekdays. I come before 8pm and service is super fast. The signature rusuk kambing with capati doesn’t display the price. But I pay RM34 for it. Ambient so so. Car can be fast strolling at the road. ”
“ Best way to eat is with your hands, time to get dirty! Found this shop from a viral video and decided to check it out with my family and we were blown away! The taste is superb, not only is it quite delicious, the portions are also huge that we went back home full afterwards craving for more. The lamb is very tender that it falls off the bone and easy to eat, the stew is great but needs more chili and rice is aromatic and compliments the dishes. The capati is a good combination to eat the lamb with, perhaps the chef can add multiple flavours in the future like cheese capati or naan to attract more people. Everything about the food is fantastic though the shop is a bit hard to find as it is located near the end of the area, I would suggest the owner to have a proper signboard and maybe beautify the place as well as you grow the business as it does lack the ambiance - dim lights & messy backgrounds. The wait is a wee bit long though 15-20 mins but understandable as it is a real stew that they're cooking so please be prepare some books or songs to keep yourself occupied. In short, delicious food but messy place. ”
